Aussie Teams finish well at 2010 Tornado Worlds

Five Aussie Teams recently competed in the 2010 Tornado Worlds in a fleet of 50 boats at Travemunde in Germany. This made the Australian team the second biggest representive country.

Brett Burvill and Ryan Duffield on the Windrush built Tornado the best of the Aussies finishing a credible 4th behind some international and Olympic sailors.  This was the only non Marstrom built Tornado competing apart from a traditional wooden boat sailed by a German team.

Adam Beattie and Jamie Leitner (Cairns Yacht Club) finished 11th .
Jack Benson (from Darwin Sailing Club) and Thilo Keller ( a German A-Cat sailor) finished 13th.
Paul Raymond (Nedlands Yacht Club) and Dave Beeby (Darwin Sailing Club) finished 20th.
Peter Gibb and Ethan Neaves (Darwin Sailing Club) finished 29th.
